Viewers are already calling Beverley Callard the winner of I’m A Celebrity South Africa, and it is easy to see why. The Coronation Street star just returned to the jungle for the All Stars series, and fans are completely hooked.
Things got tense during a tricky puzzle challenge where she teamed up with Adam Thomas. They actually did great at first, but a sudden slip sent their collected pieces tumbling into the drop. Adam then spent ten long minutes trying to figure out the puzzle, which cost them the win.
The real drama kicked in when boxer David Haye had to pick who went to the rougher camp, and he made a tough call. He explained his choice by saying, “It’s survival, we’ve got to eat,” before sending Beverley away instead of Scarlett Moffatt. She fired right back with a classic, “David you are going to pay for that decision… up yours.”
Social media is already rallying behind her, with plenty of viewers insisting she deserves the crown. Even though she missed out on the original Australian trip years ago, this jungle run is turning out to be exactly what she needed. We will just have to tune in and see if she can pull off the victory.
