Ntim Fordjour: Mahama Puts Partners Before Ghana Values

You won’t believe the latest drama in Ghana’s parliament. A major politician just accused the president of selling out on a hot-button issue.

Rev. Ntim Fordjour, who’s backing the anti-LGBTQ+ bill, claims President Mahama cares more about what foreign partners think than about Ghana’s own culture and morals.

He didn’t mince words: ‘It appears the President is placing the preferences of development partners above the values and moral expectations of Ghanaians.’ Fordjour says this is a total flip-flop from Mahama’s opposition days.

Now, Fordjour is demanding an apology from the president and his party to religious groups. The spark? Mahama recently called the bill important but not urgent.
