Early Life
On February 13, 1980, Nana Kwame Bediako was born in Kumasi, Ghana. He was born in the Ghanaian suburb of Asokwa, which is part of Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
His mother, who raised him, was quite impoverished, although his father was extraordinarily affluent. Growing up with his brother, Nana eventually developed his business acumen under his father’s guidance.
Education
He went to Apam Senior High School after attending Accra Academy. In addition to graduating from the University of Westminster in London, he studied business at Waltham Forest College in the United Kingdom.
Career
Bediako started his business career when his father gave him and his brother money so they could help their mother out financially.
This gave him the idea to start his own company. Bediako began a poultry company by purchasing two hens with the money while his brother used it to purchase bread and eggs.
He sold two hundred (200) eggs a month as the business grew.
He started selling garments to other students at Waltham Forest College in the UK, and soon after, he used the money he made from the business to purchase his first car.
Later, he expanded his company to include the collecting and selling of scrap metal, and in 1999, he entered the telecom industry. During the dotcom era, he founded a business that charged customers for transactions made online, and an Indian investor
which, on the advice of his lawyer, he turned down when an Indian investor offered to acquire it for £327,000. Later, the investor came with a £410,000 offer, which he accepted.
After pooling his money, Bediako reached his first million-pound milestone, which sparked an idea for a profitable business venture and a desire to launch a high-growth, prosperous company.
After reaching his first £1 million milestone, Bediako felt a divine calling to pursue his business ventures in Africa. This led him to return to Ghana, his native country, where he founded the Kwarleyz Group, which has a variety of interests in finance, real estate, and property management.
The Wonda World Estate in Accra and the planned Petronia City are also being developed by the Kwarleyz Group. The Kwarleyz Group has built 500 residential buildings.
