Saheed Osupa Says He Uses Juju to Boost His Fuji Career

During a lively performance at veteran actor Lalude’s 52nd birthday bash, Fuji star Saheed Osupa told his backup singers to try juju for better memory. He spoke openly about his own use of traditional spiritual practices to get ahead in life.

Osupa said he regularly pays homage to the Yoruba Ifa system each morning. He insists his juju isn’t about harming anyone but about personal progress. He also laughed that without such rituals, even painkillers wouldn’t make him successful.

He also shared that he starts each day by giving respect to Ifa, a tradition he follows without knowing the exact deity. Saheed Osupa said, “Somebody told me one time to grant an interview, denying that I’m a fetish person, but I told him that I am, and why should I deny it. I didn’t kill anyone with my juju or commit evil with it. I am only looking for how to progress. Nothing more.”

Osupa argues that many people use similar practices, even if they keep them private. He believes being open about his juju sets him apart from those who claim they rely only on religion. His honesty has sparked both curiosity and debate among fans.
